Administrative Assistant

Adecco Professional Finance & Insurance is partnering with a logistics and transportation company in search of an experienced Administrative Assistant in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This Administrative Assistant - position is a 3-6 month temporary opportunity. 

Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to:

  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls and emails 
  • Communicate with shipping and receiving providers for pickup and delivery appointments when needed via phone or email 
  • Update the transportation management system daily for check calls with carriers and ensuring proper dollar amounts match in the system
  • Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Minimum of one year of experience with administrative duties 
  • Logistics or transportation experience, preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite 
  • Strong communication skills
