Administrative Assistant

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a current Administrative Assistant job in Chicago. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.  As an Administrative Assistant you will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.  If you meet the qualifications listed below please Apply Now!


Responsibilities include:


  • General Support Required Offsite document storage account management and maintenance.
  • Vendor set up and management, invoicing and payments
  • New vendor set up
  • Setting up and maintaining POs (new POs and extensions)
  • Pay all incoming invoices
  • Check requests and management (required to be done by a US person)
  • Wire transfers
  • Troubleshoot late AP payments  
  • Tracking unpaid payments, managing communication with vendor Sales Team Support Agent commission payments.
  • Requires interface with finance, wire transfer management, engagement with AP, and tracking payments.
  • Support setting up customer visits at plants Meeting setup Travel and visa support for internal employees and
  • Visiting stakeholders/customers Mail and international and national shipping of materials Support with ordering and managing promotional marketing materials Preparing letters and formal documents
