Brief Posting Description
Under direct supervision, provides operational support at branch level under leadership and direction of the branch administrative manager, supervisor or Manager of Operations. Also assists with tasks to ensure branch is compliant in all audit measurements.

Detailed Description
• Conducts inventory control procedures, including maintaining inventory files, updating and generating reports, assisting in product cycle counting, and control of non-conforming products.
• Reviews return authorization and credit memo forms pending return of material.
• Checks inventory items for shipped dates and locked orders, and ensures consistent compliance with WESCO Standard Operating Procedures, policies and quality system requirements.
• Researches tax and freight claims and runs credit memo when appropriate.
• Works with Financial Services to clear claims.
• Adds new customers into WESNET and PACT and runs WESNET user branch security reports. Notifies branch administrative and operations manager of any discrepancies.
• Performs basic accounting duties such as light accounts receivables and payables and invoice approval preparation.
• Responsible for building maintenance and security reporting, equipment maintenance and maintaining supplies.
• Completes various branch reports such as tax reports, manual sales order reports, fleet reports, security reports.
• Ensures compliance to health and safety program (HASP) and in particular, follows up on monthly safety training and completes OSHA Logs.
• Assists with tasks to ensure branch compliance with audit procedures.

Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
• Operational or administrative
Understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
Customer service and inside sales

EDUCATION:
• High School Degree or Equivalent required
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
General computer, MS Office
Time management
Basic verbal and written communication

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
• General Office – Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Employee required to organize and coordinate schedules.
• Employee required to problem-solve.
• Employee required to communicate with the public.
