Temp associate will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks for the Employment Law and potentially Commercial Law groups within the Corporate Legal Department, including providing support to attorneys and paralegals, and assisting in daily office needs, and other projects, as assigned. 


Administrative Support

  • Scanning, photocopying, and filing
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail/packages via US Mail/FedEx
  • Process personnel/bulk files
  • Facilitate retrieval/return of Iron Mountain boxes and process/organize contents
  • Process data entry/file organization of electronic files

Claims Support

  • Process calendaring requests
  • Filing including uploading documents/files to Serengeti
  • Open, update, and close matters via Serengeti and other tracking measures
  • Pull and review PeopleWorks Weekly Time Summaries and Timecard Statements
  • Draft and distribute Litigation Hold compliance follow-up and release memos
  • Process settlement check requests
  • Generate ELG Case Coversheet including claim review, identify associate, run Serengeti/F Drive search, retrieve business unit info, generate assignment email, open matter in F Drive and Serengeti
  • Process Repayment matters including intake, drafting demand letter, facilitate repayments, update and maintain reports

  • Proven experience as administrative assistant with minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and communication skills required.  Ability to compose correspondence and reports.
  • Ability to handle numerous activities and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to operate with minimal direction, set priorities, and exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to learn ELG programs including Serengeti, LMS, and Taleo.
