Role Summary/Purpose
To provide temporary professional and efficient reception service at GE Healthcare’s Chicago facility.

Essential Responsibilities
• Book and manage conference room space
o help with catering and IT needs related to these requests
o Issue security access and passes on the visitor system and notifying hosts of their arrival.
• Efficient operation of the reception desk, ensuring that all calls are answered in a friendly
and efficient manner and all forwarded correctly.
• Work with the other admins both at our location and other sites, onsite building security and facilities as required
• Stock supplies as needed
• Ensure that the Reception area is kept tidy at all times and hospitality is offered to visitors
if necessary.
• Meet and greet all visitors to the Chicago site in a professional and courteous way.
• Make sure visiting staff have signed-in at Reception.

Qualifications/Requirements
• 2-year degree or equivalent (defined as a High School diploma/GED and 1 year administrative)
• Strong customer service skills are must (this role has heavy emphasis on interaction with internal and external guests)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
