Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant job in Lafayette, IN. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities for this Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant job include:
*Greets the public in a professional manner with proper telephone etiquette and personal greetings; provides excellent customer service in representing the company as first point of contact, which includes announcing and directing visitors, clients, and guests.
* Answers and operates a multi-line telephone system, takes messages, receives/sends faxes and routes calls and faxes or other materials to the appropriate staff.
* Enters donations, contact information, and donor activities into donor database in a timely and accurate fashion.
* Analyzes gifts to determine proper coding, including the selection of campaigns, funds, appeals, etc. for each gift to be processed.
*Facilitates onboarding and mentoring for all work-study staff.
*Assists with preparation and follow up for department events such as fundraisers and donor meetings.
*Works with other staff to keep department filing up to date.
*Provides administrative and research support to the CEO and staff.
*Composes and distributes internal communication for all staff.
*Assures tidiness and professional appearance of desk area, lobby, kitchen.

Qualifications:
*High School Degree and experience commensurate with position responsibilities as defined above.
*Cooperative attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to providing excellent customer service clients, current and prospective donors, volunteers, visitors, and co-workers.
*Excellent organizational skills.
*Must respect the confidential nature of fundraising and donor records/information.
*Ability to complete work in an effective and timely manner.
*Ability to work with shifting priorities.
*Ability to handle high volume of work in short periods with great accuracy and attention to detail.
*Must be able to efficiently and effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software programs with an aptitude and ability to learn the database management software.

Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Pay $11.50/hr. Drug Screen is required.
