Adecco has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Department Administrative Assistant. This position could last several months, it has no end date as of right now.  Working hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. The rate of pay is $17/hr.  They would like to conduct interviews right away so please, read the description below and if you meet the qualifications, please apply!now! 


Job Functions:

Provide daily administrative support and problem-solving assistance to management and/or staff.  

Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner for department

Maintain schedules and calendars

Coordinate routine matters, conference calls, meetings, travel and various other assignments

Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages for the department

Provide backup to other administrative support

Process invoices and maintain records for budget tracking

Track departmental expenses and maintain expense records 

Run and distribute reports as needed

Maintain department time (e.g. vacation, schedules, and other paid time off.) . Maintain department compliance on initiatives as appropriate

Assist in the coordination of department activities as needed


Education/Skillset Requirements: .

Strong written and oral communication 

Must be organized and detail orientated


Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.  Able to handle routine tasks and resolve issues with a high level of independence and initiative.  Able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.


Other Qualifications: . 1 year in a secretarial/administrative support role.


Desired Education/Experience: . Corporate office administrative assistant experience.
