Administrative Assistant Receptionist

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a current Assistant Administrative/Receptionist position in Arcade, NYThis is a Part Time Opportunity.  As an Assistant Administrative/Receptionist you will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as data entry, multi-task, preparing& using Excel tables & basic formulas, customer service and answering and directing calls.

Responsibilities for this Administrative Assistant job include:

  • Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications
  • Answer office telephone and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
  • Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence. Greet office visitors and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person based on their needs
  • Complete forms in accordance with company procedures
  • Organize & find reference information quickly when a customer calls
  • Answer phones a transfer calls to apprpriate department or person


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 Years of Experience
  • Multi task and keep track of progress on tasks
  • Strong work knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft Office programs
  • Detail oriented

Pay for this position is $13-14 DOE. This is a part time opportunity(25-30 hours per week) for a qualified candidate.
