POSITION: Administrative Assistant

LOCATION: Plainfield, NJ

DURATION: 24 months

Pay: 23.00 - 25.00 Hourly  

Hours 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the PSE&G Site Remediation Group by providing assistance to the Cost Control Group, the Project Managers and the Environmental Specialists, maintaining project files, correspondence, task tracking systems, typing and document management in support of BPU and other regulatory filings. 
    This position will report to the Project Support Specialist and includes a wide variety of administrative duties that includes copying, scanning, filing of correspondence and reports including the management of the Site Remediation Program filing system, retrieving documents from offsite facility, organizing meetings in Outlook, typing and mailing inter-office and overnight correspondence; screen incoming mail and other correspondence, assign action items as appropriate, and track work assignments to ensure timely completion. It should be noted that some correspondence is confidential. 
     

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Must be familiar with SAP, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, calendaring, interaction with different groups and locations within PSE&G; be responsible for running an office.
    Education: Minimum high School Degree
    Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years working in corporate office 
    Hour of operation are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday
