Administrative Assistant

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for an organized Administrative Assistant in Tucker, GA. This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career.

As an Administrative Assistant you will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. The ideal candidate is able to multi-task and has exceptional time management skills. Responsibilities for this Administrative Assistant job include:

  • Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications
  • Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material
  • Create, sort, and distribute client folders
  • Managing Expense Reports
  • Answer office telephone and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
  • Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies
  • Greet office visitors and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person based on their needs
  • Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports
  • Qualifications:

  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Above Average skills in Microsoft Excel
  • UPS, FedEx, and other Receiving software knowledge
  • WMS System knowledge
  • Able to operate a Multi-line switchboard
  • Front Office Experience is required

    Pay for this position is between $15-$17 an hour. This is a first shift position.
