Collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. The ideal candidate has essential high-speed data entry skills with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.


Responsibilities include:

-Transfer data from paper formats into computer files/databases using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners

-Type in data provided directly from customers

-Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without errors

-Verify data by comparing it to source documents

-Retrieve/update existing data from databases as requested

-Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

-Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

-Interpret data, analyzing the results using statistical techniques
