Administrative Global Rights Support Associate
New York, NY 10019
W2 Contract 7 months
Contract runs April 23rd-November 16
Pay Rate: $ 33.00 per hour

Job Overview:

Our ecommerce Publishing client is hiring a temporary Rights Associate to support its Global Rights business.
The responsibilities will include data entry and reporting, scheduling appointments and activities for international book fairs, creating and overseeing the creation of sales materials, sending translation materials and international editions to publishers and authors, tracking the completion of international licenses and paperwork, and providing general administrative support to the Global Rights department. When our client’s Publishing acquires the rights to publish books, this team licenses translation rights to translate our books into other languages, etc. The successful candidate will be helping with the administrative functions around those licensing requests.

Job Responsibilities:

Support International book fairs
Will help prepare sales materials for book fairs and helping to schedule meetings for those fairs
Helping to create all the material and plan agenda for the fairs
General administrative work
Data Entry w/Excel - preparing weekly reports to send out to the team
Work with cross-functional teams and international publishers
Emailing with international publishers to talk about titles/meetings
Putting together sales materials
Mailing international additions to authors/etc.
Updating systems/tracking contracts
Tracking any materials that need to be sent out

Required Skills:

BA/BS required.
Familiarity with database entry and scheduling.
Experience using MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and SharePoint.
High attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Strong organizational and communications skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

(2-4 Years Related Experience)
Background in the book publishing industry or related field.
Experience using Salesforce and Remedy.
Familiarity with licensing deals and contracts.
Experience creating sales materials.
