Administrator Benefits Coordinator

  • Adecco is current seeking candidates for a TEMPORARY Administrative Benefits Coordinator role in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Summary: 
The Benefits Administrator provides support for benefit service functions at the client site that includes administration of health and welfare programs, HRIS database administration, leave programs and wellness programs.

Duties & Responsibilities
HRIS Database Administration –
  • Responsible for heavy data entry including new enrollments and terminations of participants (athletes and employees)
  • Ensures data integrity in HRIS database with daily maintenance of carrier files, resolving data errors, updating data (i.e., new hire record creation, changes, terminations, benefit/leave administration, etc.)
  • Provides technical support, tests system functionality, and works with HRIS experts to provide system support and troubleshoot system problems
Benefits Administration – 
  • Creates, updates, and maintains employee benefit files.
  • Creates benefit reports and tests for accuracy for use in audits/reconciliations.
  • Processes all benefits invoices and ensures timely payment to vendors.
  • Administers COBRA to ensure terminations are processed within a timely manner.
  • Facilitates benefits enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiary revisions, disability requests, accidental death and dismemberment claims.
  • Administers Flexible Spending Accounts and leave of absence programs (i.e., LTD, STD, FMLA, CFRA, PFL, etc.)
  • Ensures HIPAA Security and Privacy practices compliance
  • Assists with open enrollment, new hire orientation and corporate wellness programs
  • Assists with managing ACA administration and reporting to include drafting employee communications, annual measurement process, filings, and assist with coordinating employee IRS tax statements (i.e., Form 5500, 1094-C, 1094-B, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR related field or equivalent work experience.
Licensure & Certification:
  • Certification in employee benefits (CEBS) strongly preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in benefits, leave administration or related HR field.
  • 3 years of experience with employment and labor laws including FMLA, CFRA and ADA leave laws.
  • Experience with HRIS system; UltiPro a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Extreme knowledge and experience in Excel a plus.
