Title: AML Analyst
Pay: $34 Hourly
Duration:6 months
Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a reference/answer queries from management and technical departments in regards to ongoing client screenings data
- Conduct and track ongoing screenings progress
- Provide client data/screening information for ad hoc request from management
- Screen, clear, and escalate Global Search requests
- Work with IT for system enhancements (Quarterly Small Batch Checks and IT requests for export data)
- Prepare or Oversee weekly and monthly metrics reports
- Ensure accurate and proper maintenance of metrics and charts for timely MI reporting
- Respond to inquiries in the Negative News Mailbox
- Clear hits in the 2nd Line Review Function of the Zurich Hub
- Identify grey areas and work with various departments/businesses to streamline the process
- Co-ordinate and allocate work to the negative news team in Pune

Overview of business area or project:
- advise the businesses and CDMU Groups on negative news hits located during period reviews and/or event triggered reviews
- conduct ongoing hit screenings for existing clients

Overview of department/team:
- The GG FCC Negative News Desk will serve two main functions: (1) advise the businesses and CDMU Groups on negative news hits located during period reviews and/or event triggered reviews and (2) conduct ongoing hit screenings for existing clients.

- multi-tasking between various jobs, while ensuring that the Turn Around Time is met

Essential skills and qualifications:
- Outstanding proficiency and experience with Excel/spreadsheet and data management systems.
- Excellent communication skills- able to communicate quickly and concisely about complex data issues, particularly in writing
- Must be a self-starter, have strong multi-tasking skills and excellent time management skills and be accustomed to working with tight deadlines
- Ability to make tough decisions and justify them
