Analyst Financial III

In this Finance Analyst role, you will be supporting a functional group within Information Technology broader Operations organization with FP&A activities, manage & track spend, close financial books monthly, plan commits, track actual, provide forecast, conduct variance analysis to ensure financial execution remain within the guidelines. 
• Become subject matter expert for functional organization, tie back business execution and deliverables to financial results 
• Engage with CCFS-IT team, gather financial planning details, conduct interlock sessions, and help facilitate annual planning, forecasting and as well as quarterly recommits 
• Load financial details to financial systems for fiscal year budgeting, quarterly recommits and monthly close 
• Consolidate forecast, engage data driven conversation, provide explanation to variances, make recommendation pro-actively as needed to ensure execution remain within spending envelope 
• Create managerial reports by IT-Services, programs, funding sources, initiatives, and assist with forward looking planning, tracking & managing functional headcount & resources 
• Approve PRs and cross charges for the functional group, reconcile open PO report, GL and A/P details for analysis and month-end close 
• Ad hoc reporting as required

We are the Finance team (within Corporate Finance) supporting Cisco’s Information Technology organization within Cisco’s broader Operations & Digital organization. We are talented Finance professionals demonstrating fast-finance, leveraging excellent collaboration, communication skills to delivery meaningful financial and managerial reporting to facilitate inform decision making. 


WHO YOU ARE: 
You are a self-starter, result oriented, motivated, poses excellent communication skills and highly collaborative individual with real passion for Finance. 

• Accounting/Finance degree with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience 
• Prior experience with Budget vs. Actual variance analysis 
• Practical knowledge of Accounting principles and finance 
• Prior experience with Cisco's planning cycle, funding model 
• Strong user of Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills 
• Strong systems and tools skills; including Business Objects, Fin BI Essbase (FETCH), Oracle, I-procurement
