P A Y R O L L - ENTRY LEVEL (Payroll Specialist) 

Calculate, key, total, and balance substitute payrolls.  Handle voluntary and involuntary deductions.  Enter changes to employee payroll records.  Create reports for information pertaining to retirement and payroll.  Communicate with employees regarding changes in salary, benefits, etc. 3 years of experience are required. 

• Minimum Requirements: (“Must have” Qualifications) 
1.Must be computer literate in PC based hardware or previous experience with the following systems is required: 
• Oracle HRMS 
• Oracle Time & Labor 
• ADP-ProBusiness 
• ADP Report Writer 
• Siebel 
• MS-Excel 
• MS-Outlook 

2. experience working in high volume daily and biweekly payroll in a multi-company/state environment, end-to-end processing, including data auditing/analysis, data entering, and corrections for wage & tax reporting and compliance. 

3. Additional requirement skills include, should be experienced with processing payroll Tax Levy, Support Orders, Wage Order Garnishments, in addition to calculating manual off-cycle payments, overpayment collections, and manual earnings gross-ups. 

4. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives minimal instruction and is able to resolve complex problems, with little management guidance. Individual should have excellent communication skills, with an ability to follow both oral and written procedures. Requires a service oriented person to provide excellent high-touch customer service, both to internal/external Cisco employees, and 3rd Party business partners (e.g. Sedgwick, State Support Disbursement Units, Taxing jurisdictions, etc.).

1. Current American Payroll Association (APA) certification, for CPP and/or FPC is a plus.
