Sealtron Manufacturing Division of Ametek in Reading, Ohio is partnering with Adecco Staffing Services for temporary to hire Assembler positions.

Job Duties

 

Using small hand tools and wire, employee is required to wrap thin gauge wire around connector electrodes, and or shell, which makes an electrical connection. Electrical connection is required prior to plating process. Employee will be required to perform routine visual inspection, record count of incoming and out going pieces.

 

Other duties will be the masking of electrodes prior to plating and the unwrapping of electrodes and/or shells after plating procedure is completed. Employee will be required to keep track of wire and masking material to ensure there is always an adequate supply. Employee will advise Plating Supervisor when materials are running low. Employee will be required to perform other tasks and duties as may be assigned by the Plating Supervisor

Rate: $12.00 per hour

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, this position will entails working in all related Final Assembly areas, which includes: Parts Marking, Inserting, Detailing. This position will require setting up some equipment, which includes Video Jet, glue dispensers, manual Markem Machines. Must have good knowledge of parts numbering system, and be able to do some inspection as specified by Process Specifications. Employee will be required to count, record parts as well as complete the required daily paperwork.

 

Employee must be able to work to established manufacturing standards and procedures while maintaining high quality standards.

 

This position will be demanding and fast paced. Overtime may be necessary with little or no notice. Employee will be required to perform other tasks and duties as may be assigned by the Assembly Supervisor.

 

Maintain a clean, uncluttered and safe work environment observing and practicing high standards of health and safety. This includes wearing appropriate attire, such as protective safety glasses, appropriate closed-toed shoes and any other safety required gear where applicable.

 

Good attendance is a must. A training period of 30-45 days is mandatory.
