The Assembler is responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment operation and safety requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce a product or products. Accomplish various production assembly functions that are somewhat complicated in nature. Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment. Using hand tools and air tools, fits various parts together, such as pumps, motors, un-loader and others, and produces a pressure washer or water cleaning system.

Bore holes in the chassis for final assembly when needed using air drills.

Position parts in specified opening and screws or bolts them in place.

May assemble electrical components and wiring. Read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot. May do plumbing.

Maintain a clean work area. Work area housekeeping before going home.


Prefer high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Manufacturing/production experience preferred.

Must have mechanical experience using hand tools.

Must be able to read, speak and write English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
