Summary:

Our client is a world class contract manufacturer of some of the world’s most innovative and recognizable products.  Under minimal supervision, an Assembler level 2 will perform PCBA and Box build assembly processes.  This will be done in an efficient manner according to IPC standards and within set deadlines to ensure shipments of quality product are made on time.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and assembles manually inserted components per written instructions and visual aids.
  • Visually inspects parts/assemblies for proper insertion and placement per workmanship standards and visual aids.
  • Ensures assemblies and components are properly handled, stored and marked. 
  • Scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks, bin or Kanban locations.
  • Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas.
  • Execute Purge process as needed.
  • Maintain functionality of all production equipment using preventative maintenance measures applicable to assigned functional areas.
  • Accurately maintains daily logs.
  • Utilize bar code scanner and small hand tools.
  • Follows detailed written and verbal instructions including visual aids, and applicable ISO procedures. 
  • Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.  Follow 5S and Safety guidelines as applicable.
  • Escalate manufacturing process discrepancies or quality/safety concerns to group leads or supervisors.  
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. 
  • Follow any company policies and procedures in regards to attendance and time keeping. 
  • Other Job duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • 2-5 years related experience and/or training.
  • Must be able to read and write simple instructions and correspondence. Read and understand visual aids. 
  • Basic computer skills.  Ability to complete log ins. Utilize email. Learn to use basic computer applications.
