Electronics Manufacturing company is seeking an Assembly 3 candidate who also has experience with Training. This position is located in Canby, OR.

Shift is M-F, 6am to 2:30pm
Position pays $17-$20, DOE

The main focus of this position will be Assembly, rework, and repair of electronic printed circuit assemblies & box build
electronic/electrical assemblies. Secondary focus, requiring extensive soldering experience, will be to motivate and train
others up to Class III Assembly and Rework to acceptable workmanship standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
~Able to solder to IPC and J-Std-001 Class II/III workmanship standard and perform rework and repair.
~Train others to properly solder, and rework, to Class II/III workmanship standards.
~Assist in development of training curriculum, presentations and materials.
~Ability to inspect assemblies based on written documentation and customer requirements.
~Ability to perform rework on SMT and through-hole components to acceptable workmanship standards.
~Follows appropriate quality policies and procedures.
~Performs work to appropriate efficiency and quality standards.
~Capable of producing quality product at any manual assembly processes such as stuffing, hand assembly,
mechanical assembly, and soldering, as well as any rework requirements.
~Familiarity with a variety of the company's concepts, practices, and procedures on and off the manufacturing floor.
~Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities, supporting change and identifying ways
to improve processes and efficiency.
~Actively participate in work group/team activities, as an enthusiastic, positive and dependable team member.
~Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment.
~Work performed in this job can only be done on site, and therefore attendance is an essential function of this job.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. A minimum of three years' experience in the electronics industry required. Must
have the drive to help others succeed. Quality Control experience is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, speak, and understand English to enable clear communication and comprehension of internal company
documentation. Multilingual skills are a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills required to add, subtract, multiply, & divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Able to understand, analyze, and determine product quality to written documentation.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
~Proven advanced skills in soldering and rework capabilities.
~Ability to comfortably train other.
~Ability to speak, present and train in front of groups.
~Good written communication skills.
~Proficient keyboard skills and Microsoft Office programs.
~Ability to perform inventory transactions in computer systems.
~Must achieve a passing score on the Milwaukee Electronics Component Identification course.
~Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Workmanship standards exam.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this position, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger,
handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision
requirements include: close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
