Seeking entry level assemblers in the Houston/Pearland, TX area.   Must be able to start ASAP!! Hourly Rate: $11.00/hour. Ideal candidate must be detail oriented, hard worker, seeking a temp to hire opportunity! All candidates must have high school diploma or GED.

Shift hours: 6am-2:30pm on day 1 they come in at 8:15am for safety orientation.

General Assemblers will be sorting and Checking, Inspection, Tool-Related Assembly. Assembles mechanical components according to blueprint, bill of materials chart, and shop order specifications. Mounts, refines and fastens units using mechanical or power hand tools and gauges.  Must be able to lift to 35 pounds.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Read and understand the schematic diagrams, product manuals, process documents, and gather information regarding its parts, fixtures, tools, etc.
  • Hands on experience in electrical and mechanical assembly using drills and assorted hand tools.  Soldering experience would be a plus.
  • To set up, arrange, and operate equipment as per the specifications and instructions from the supervisor.
  • To assemble parts or components to build a final assembly
  • To perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is produced in accordance with the specifications
  • To implement and identify needs for improvement by conveying it to the assembly supervisor, so that quality of products is maintained
  • To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with the company's rules and policies
  • To make sure that all the parts, labor, and other processes are progressing at the given time
  • Adhere to time and attendance requirements.
  • Adhere to company dress code requirements
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


Essential Skills

  • Good hand and eye coordination with demonstrated excellent manual dexterity for precision alignment.
  • Ability to lift heavy items not to exceed 25 pounds.
  • They need to stand and work for long hours performing the same task repetitively
  • Ability to learn and master new assembly skills along with effective communication skills.


Educational Requirements

A high school diploma or a general education “GED” is required.


The salary for assembly technicians varies with experience and technical expertise and knowledge. The hourly wages vary in the range of $11.00/hour.
