Electronic Assembler opening will be required to build custom cabinets, custom stations, as well as standard metal products. This employee is required to know how to read and understand mechanical drawings, read and understand wiring diagrams, follow MFG work instructions, and be able to print the BOM from the computer and verify its accuracy. Must have high quality work ethic and standards.

 

o Must have experience in either small part assembly, medium metal assembly, or heavy duty metal and mechanical assembly.

o Some assembly positions will require employee to be able to read assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.

o Must have good communication skills and willing to be a part of a team.

o Must be willing to learn multiple jobs.

o Must be able to learn quickly and focus on quality of work.

o Must have some computer experience.

o Some positions may require six months soldering experience.

o Must be able to comply with established Safety policies and procedures

o Able to follow and understand ESD, ESD PPE and ESD Policy and procedures Understand the basics of Lean manufacturing practices and principles

o Understand the basics of 6S and the 8 wastes

 

Will be part of a team that doesn't just do 1 job. They will work in multiple areas with training and MFG work instructions

 

This employee is needed because of the transfer of work from NCW to Dallas. This employee is needed to be brought in now to be trained on the assembly work on products for Strand and Showline products. This employee will be brought in to be taught on the MFG work instructions, Drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly work. They will be shown the lean principles, the safety procedures, and all of the PPE requirements required to work here. This employee is necessary for this work as the Show line product coming to dallas is about $600-700K worth of sales for Signify

The employee will be trained to do small assembly, medium metal assembly, as well as heavy duty metal assembly. They will be building from the current BOMs in our operating system. They will be required to read the boms. They will be required to build from MFG work instructions, customer provided drawings, read and understand wiring diagrams. They will be using small hand tools as well as powered hand drills and automatic drills. They will need to be able to retain their knowledge from the training they receive so that are able to work individually as well as part of a team.

 

 

Experience: 2 or more years of experience in position or specialization. Education: High-school/Associates or equivalent experience if applicable. Certification if applicable. Position, align, fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or sub-assemblies, using hand tools, rivet guns, and welding equipment. Construct or assemble an entire product or component of a product.
