Assembly technician perform a variety of routine to complex tasks in support of capital equipment assembly operations.

This includes managing each system or subassembly build from start to finish and escalating issues to ensure production plan dates are met. Builders are expected to be detail-oriented, quality-minded and willing to stop production to fix critical issues.

Specific duties include: � Follow written procedures (ATI and IVPs) and adhere to BP 155 guidelines.
*Provide specific and concise information of system status to supervisor.
*Work in a safe and efficient manner.
*Escalate any issues that will jeopardize cycle time.
*Use various hand tools and precision tools, like dial indicators, calipers, and torque wrenches for stage alignment and system integration. *Interact with engineering to establish new procedures or redline current ATIs.
*Navigate Team Center to verify assembly part numbers and revisions, ensure that the Bill of Materials (BOMs) are correct, print out current test instructions, obtain schematics and part drawings to assist in troubleshooting
*Generate detailed and descriptive QN�s on defective material, leading to corrective action of the defective material by the supplier. *Maintain a clean production area.
*Perform electrical testing and verifications.
*Prepare machines for shipment.
*Follow ESD guidelines.
*Proficient in computer applications (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, and SAP)
