Our client located on the NE side of San Antonio, off of 35 near Splashtown Drive is looking for reliable Assemblers to join their Production team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
� Successfully perform all bench-type processes with necessary precision in order to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electronic and pneumatic tooling according to procedures, work instructions and drawings.
� Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor in a timely and consistent manner.
� Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Keep all tools and accessories at the appropriate work stations and follow prescribed safety regulations in a consistent manner.
� Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer order.
� Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as necessary in order to assure consistently adequate output.
� Adequately complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Attend to all details of assembly process.
� Perform all tasks to meet and continually improve quality levels and expectations including aiding co-workers for overall high-quality output.
� Complete all tasks in work area with close attention detail and high quality.
� Comply with all company policies, rules, guidelines and behavior expectations.
� Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
� Knowledge of computers and/or the ability to grasp computer proficiency quickly.
� Ability to count parts and record data accurately and on a timely basis.
� Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
� Customer service focused.
� Willingness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skills.
� Ability to work within tight timeframes and deadlines which, in turn, necessitates both a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize duties based on immediate needs.
� Ability to work in a changing environment that is dynamic and has priorities that change often and quickly.
� Effectively follow established methods and procedures in order to perform in an adequate manner, not limited to the following operations necessary to build various light fixtures and housings: make bulk cable, cut and strip wire, pot, crimp, cleaning operations, marking operations, assemble housings and trim assemblies.
� Use and be familiar with assembly and measuring tools, interpret visual aids and must be able to effectively add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Must be able to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
� Able to effectively apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal effectively with basic work problems involving a few concrete variables in routine situations.
� Excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Required Education and Experience:
� High School Diploma
� Minimum 2 years related manufacturing production experience.
� Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.


Physical Requirements:
� Regularly required to stand or sit, bend and reach, for periods of up to 4 hours without interruption.
� Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials up to 50 lbs..
� Willingness to perform hand and body warm-up exercises at start of each shift and after lunch and breaks to minimize potential for repetitive motion injuries.

Working Environment:
� Work performed in a shop environment.
� Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
� May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process.
� The use of safety glasses and all other appropriate equipment may be required for specific operations.
� Tobacco-Free facility.
� Employees may be subject to search, random drug and alcohol testing.
