The Assessment Assistant is an administrative support position which helps build quality tests for students and test takers with special needs or disabilities.  This person will be working on tweaking synthetic speech pronunciation of Spanish test content.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Listen to audio recordings of Spanish versions of tests and provide phonetic changes for any mispronunciations in the system. 
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish/English to comprehend context of test questions to make accurate updates.
  • Have attentive listening skills and detail-oriented to quality check and proof work before submittal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required to ensure on-time delivery of tests

 

 

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Language Arts or other relevant major

Relevant Years of Experience Required: 
• 3 to 5 years of progressive responsible experience
• Very strong computer skills/technical aptitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
