Adecco is seeking an Assessment Assistant (Alternate Test Formats). Please read job description below

Applicants should (ideally) have some sort of editorial background in which they have proofread forms for style, grammar, typos, and layout. Must have excellent attention to detail.

Pay Rate: $23/hour

Write, review, and revise test questions closely aligned to current subject-area standards. Assist in developing and assembling tests or pools of questions to meet specifications and assist in developing accessible questions and tests. Work independently and as part of a team.

Research for and write items in area of assigned responsibility. Write innovative items types in accordance with client requirements. Critically review items written by colleagues and outside item writers.

Assist in managing item pools for a project or program, including item copyrights, accessible item features, graphics.

Assist in making assignments to outside item writers and monitor the completion of their work according to schedule and specifications.

Use test assembly software to assist in the assembly of tests or pools of items and work with colleagues to ensure test forms are accessible.

May assist in preparing test-related materials for publications such as descriptive or instructional brochures.

Assist with preparation and monitoring of schedules for producing tests and test-related deliverable.

Assist in preparing item development plans and reports on issues related to a testing program.

Collect and update information on test development procedures, test specifications, and educational practices and trends.

Assist in conducting research.

Assist in project direction, work on special development projects. Able to problem-solve and possess flexibility to assist in adjusting project plans to meet deliverables on time and with the expected quality.

Demonstrate a high level of productivity and exhibit accountability for assigned work.

Bachelor's degree in field of specialty or the equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and experience can be acquired is required.

Classroom experience and familiarity with standards (e.g. Common Core State Standards (CCSS)) is desirable.

Well-developed organizational skills, strong technical skills and a willingness/adeptness with regards to learning new technology are required.

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills, and experience working with internal and external customers are required.
