Assessment Process Specialist I

Administrative Coordinators work on developing and managing the processes for assigned programs, supporting the work within the department, maintaining schedules and coordinating the process to ensure that deliverables are met on time.

Location: Princeton, New Jersey

Duration: 6 months contract- likely extensions

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Co-ordinate processes in support of a testing program or programs, with guidance from senior staff
  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of schedules for producing items, tests and test-related deliverables, including recording sessions, released items or tests, records from committee reviews, etc.
  • Communicate with client staff, vendors and clients regarding scheduling, key due dates and deliverables; update the schedule as significant changes occur
  • Assist with planning activities for committee meetings, including scheduling training for facilitators and coordinating and monitoring the preparation and shipping of materials
  • Work with team members to manage the outside item writing process, including preparing assignments, managing workflow, coordinating payments, etc.
  • Oversee assessment-development-related copyright activities for a given group
  • Develop and monitor plans and processes for a more efficient operational workflow

Candidates should meet the following requirements for consideration:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of specialty, or combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and experience can be acquired is required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Three years of experience is required, in test development, process or project management, administration, operational or technical activities.
  • Ability to work within and across various software platforms, including Microsoft Office suite (especially MS Excel) is a MUST.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Decision making – ability to make reasonable judgments; problem solving in the face of ambiguity
  • Demonstrate a high level of productivity and exhibit accountability for assigned
  • Excellent organizational skills and Strong analytical skills with Technical acumen are required.
