Pay Rate: $28/hour - Looking for experience in 3-8 grade levels!

� Develop innovative items types in accordance with client requirements
� Develop high-quality test items that meet or exceed client requirements
� Gather and resolve feedback from multiple sources on items; evaluate item acceptability after
Testing
� Assemble pretests, tests, and/or pools of questions to meet specifications, and work with colleagues to ensure test forms are accessible to all students
� Participate in constructed-response scoring activities, including work with faculty consultants or state department staff
� Recruit, train, mentor, and manage outside item writers; help develop item writer training materials; assist with facilitation of item writer training meetings
� Assist client committees, including organizing and facilitating meetings, recommending committee members and explaining and summarizing analysis results
� Assist with reliability, validity or comparability studies. Apply knowledge of item statistics to evaluation of items and assembly of tests

Leadership, Teamwork and Flexibility

Assists in project direction; helps implement item development plans; works on special development projects.

Experience and Skills

Education

Master�s degree in mathematics, secondary mathematics education, statistics, or closely related field

Experience

A minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional experience including
teaching at the secondary or college level is required.

Experience in test development, educational measurement, applied statistics is a plus.
