Title: Assistant Program Manager
Location: CHICAGO IL (The position can be located in Waukegan or in our Downtown Chicago office, with periodic trips to Waukegan.)
Targeted Pay Rate: $40.00 Per Hour
Estimated Duration (in months): 6 months (may be extended past March of next year depending on performance, business needs. Also may extend up to an additional year if candidate is selected to head up the next phase of the UDI program)
Total Weekly Hours: 40
Shift: M-F 8-5 (After an introductory period, candidate may be able to work from home 1 day per week)

Job Description:

The position is an Assistant Program Manager for UDI implementation.
The responsibilities involve understanding of UDI regulations; database creation, analysis and oversight; conducting meetings across the enterprise, working with businesses to insure compliance plans are in place and are on track.
Preparation for MDR UDI; Running entire sub-projects and reporting to management; Upstream database work and Downstream UDI printing compliance;

Skills/Qualifications:

Past Program management experience
Certified program management professional (PMP) strongly desired.
Bachelor's degree, (BA in Regulatory Affairs, a plus).
Experience in Regulatory Affairs.
Experience in Medical device regulatory affairs, a plus.
Strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills.
Experience driving projects for which the candidate did not have direct authority.
Strong people skills including persuasion, likeability, clear communication, empathy, humor, ability to work well under pressure, ability to work across levels and cross-culturally.
Experience with European regulatory affairs professionals, regulations and communications, a plus.
