We are seeking a Assistant Property Manager with 2-5 years of Commercial Class A office exposure, to support the Property Management and Operations group. The position will be located in Rosslyn, Virginia managing over 600,000 SF of commercial office space ( 2 Buildings), under the leadership pf the Property Manager. As the professional with bottom line accountability for the financial performance of the asset, this individual will have close interaction with the PM and the Senior Management and with the secondary support of property operations and property financials (CAMS, Budgets, Variance Explanations and Analysis, Accruals etc).

Some of the additional responsibilities of the position are:

Assisting in supporting all aspects of building operations following industry best practices for maintenance, safety, energy management and innovation.
Actively manage assets to maximize short term return on investment and long-term economic value
Bottom line responsibility for property financial performance within the framework of the approved annual business plan. Assist the Property Manager in her absence direct engineering and management personnel to implement property business plan with careful focus on tenant relations.
Work with acquisitions, development and leasing teams on strategies in the market
Lead property team in conformance with company policies and procedures tailored to each asset.
Assist develop and manage accurate annual operating and capital budget
Conduct a detailed monthly review of all operating costs and produce variance explanations and reports.
Review construction plans for tenant design build outs and building improvements and work closely with in-house construction personnel throughout completion.




Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 - 5 years’ commercial property experience
Preferred Certifications: RPA, CPM, LEED
Self-directed and motivated individual comfortable working in collaborative environment
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word and industry software such as MRI.
