Assistant Purchasing Clerk
Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an Assistant Purchasing Clerk job in Blawnox, Pa. This is a temporary to hire opportunity. As an Assistant Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible for; managing supplier relationships, handle logistics, and talking on the phone with customers. - Review and prepare purchasing requisitions, establish sourcing plan, quote, negotiate, issue and manage purchase orders for assigned projects and or suppliers.
- Overall management of direct material sourcing and supplier quality.
- Ensure continuous flow of materials to support production requirements in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Review invoices and solve discrepancies.
- Manage supplier relationships.
- Handle logistics for incoming and outgoing material.
- Customer Service!

- Minimum education: Associate/ Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years purchasing experience
- Exceptional analytical and negotiating skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Self- Motivated and accountable

Pay rate will be between 35k- 40k, this job is Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm. (No weekends or overtime!)
