Title: Assistant Trainer
Pay: 18.00-20.00$ an hour
Location: Huntsville, AL
Duration: 7 Months (temporary)
Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm (can be flexible)
Incumbent acts as the primary liaison to the end customer and various stakeholders to provide excellent customer service, complete upload templates in Microsoft Excel, upload templates to LMS (Cornerstone) and support retention of accurate training records for sites.

Position Description

Responsibilities include:
• Provide excellent customer service on to supported sites and employees.
• Complete standard templates in Microsoft Excel and upload to LMS
• Support training activities of Aero Designer Trainer, Aerospace Learning Manager, and sites as requested.
• Support the implementation of a LMS to schedule recurrent training by job title, group, and/or requirement.
• Monitors Global and Business Unit required trainings with reports to be sent out to the leadership group.

Requires:

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products (to include word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, databases, email and electronic diary)
o Strong knowledge and previous experience in using Microsoft Excel.
o Desired – Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Understanding of database design concepts. Experience creating tables, queries, reports and forms.
§ Knowledge and understanding of sorting, filtering, adding, deleting, and modifying records. Ability to query, import, export and link data from multiple sources.
§ Knowledge of pivot tables, charts, crosstab queries and macros.
o Ability to create a range of documentation using Microsoft Office products
• Ability to record information accurately
• Experience of managing central bookings for large organizations
• Strong organizational skills, very detail oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express technical concepts to an audience in appropriate terms
• Ability to define how individual components fit together to create the desired outcome - i.e. Reports, dashboard, ROI
• Understand the critical relationships of data managed within the LMS such as the job title to the training and how that translates to the employee and the training experience (on-line, classroom, on-the-Job)
• Ability to lead and effectively participate in teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with user information and online courses.
• Ability to work without close supervision, keeping focused on short and long-term objectives
• Ability to manage competing priorities and excellent project management skills
• Strong analytical skills for identifying and solving problems
• Experience of dealing with a diverse range of people, stakeholders and customers
• Desired - Experience as a Learning Management System administrator. Specific expertise in the Cornerstone LMS platform is desired but not required.
