The Data Acquisition Coordinator works under direct supervision spending the majority of time communicating with data sources to acquire data in a timely manner and resolve issues with collected data that will be used in CoreLogic products. Works with counties to collect data and track status of data. Determine whether the data is complete and current. Resolve data related issues with the appropriate parties. Communicates with data providers via telephone, email and website to procure data.

Performs initial evaluation of the need for and availability of data to support products and procure necessary data.
Resolves issues/problems regarding collected data.
Processes and provides feedback/results on data requests from other departments.
Captures and maintains comprehensive documentation of metadata on existing and procured data, including but not limited to: contact info, price, existing legal restrictions.
Documents and tracks status of data, receipt
Coordinates documentation and payments required for the data ordering process
May prepare cost/benefit analysis for review by management prior to data purchase if there is a significant shift from the prior event.
Works under direct supervision, within established procedures.
Works on standard issues/problems
Follows department processes and procedures.

Familiarity with PC and Microsoft Suite, including Access
Able to learn CRM (customer relationship management) tools, such as Sales Force
Written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented; organizational skills
Must be able to independently manage many different tasks which may be assigned by different individuals and develop solutions as challenges arise
HS Diploma required; some college preferred
Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience
