Associate Engineer

Adecco is hiring an Associate Engineer. This is a Direct Hire Job located in Rochester, New York. You will be working for a highly reputable manufacturing company that has been in business for decades. You will manage, creates, and update part work instructions for use in nearly all areas of the facility. You will performs drawings or document activities to support production as required. You must be versatile with various CAD modeling software, customer/internal part prints, BOMs/Routings, and become familiar with all areas of production. Job Essentials:

Responsible for creating process and operator work instructions (MPCDs) for all production processes required to manufacture parts. This may apply to both new and existing customer products.
Responsible for updating MPCDs as a result of production markup requests and Process Trials, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), non-conforming material reviews or internal documentation reviews.
May serve as a technical support resource for manufacturing, including but not limited to performing time studies, written/photo/video process documentation, developing/updating standard operating procedures, print reading and interpretation, machine technical support and process support.

Job Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
2-3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Outlook / Excel, AutoCAD 2D, and strong 3D modeling experience (Solidworks). CNC Programming experience preferred, specifically with Trumpf and Amada CNC programming software (Amada SheetWorks, Dr. Abe Blank, Dr. Abe Bend, Trumpf Tru-Tops).
