Job Description and Initial Responsibilities

  • Opportunity to work in a high visibility, fast growing therapeutic area of animal health – Dermatology, and to work with a high performing team of experienced marketers.
  • Work closely with marketing leads to execute 2019 tactics for Dermatology Portfolio Brands, and to develop, implement, and measure multi-channel marketing programs, initiatives and contractual agreements which support the immediate and long term growth of the Dermatology Portfolio

• Work in conjunction with sales, veterinary operations and all other business functions to ensure alignment of messaging, clear communications, and seamless execution at the customer level

• Participate in short-term and long-term brand planning, development of sales and operating budgets, management of and operating within approved financial parameters to enhance profitability

  • Develops and manage business-critical analyses and dashboards used to support forecasting processes and marketing activities for the Portfolio. Manages the analysis of sales and customer data to identify actionable insights, trends, and recommended actions for the brand managers.
  • Be highly responsive in managing all communications with customers, Territory Business Managers, Area Business Managers, Corporate Accounts, Customer Interaction Team, and Senior Management. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or other marketing discipline with 2-4 years’ experience in marketing, technical, sales or related product management experience
  • Excellent understanding of science-based marketing, customer needs, and the marketing process
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and abilities to work with large data sets in Excel
  • Strengths in team and relationship building (with both internal and external customers)
  • Highly responsive and results oriented.  Strategically agile and energized by a fast moving environment.
  • Animal Health sales/marketing or human health marketing experience preferred
