Automation Technician

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Automation Technician!

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity that offers full benefits and a competitive salary! With this opportunity you would be responsible for a variety of skilled tasks such as troubleshooting, servicing and fixing the computerized systems and robotic devices that are designed to reduce human interaction, such as robotic assembly devices. You will be working with PLCs, controllers, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring of motors and light electrical problem solving and mechanical repair.

Shift: 1st (have to top tier), 2nd & 3rd open
Pay: VERY competitive, depends of experience. ($28-$40/HR)
Benefits: Medical Dental, Life Insurance, Vacation (2.5 weeks), 401k match 6%

The most successful candidates have the following skillsets:

Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment.

Performs maintenance, set-up and PM on automation equipment in Injection Molding.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment related processing issues.

On-call as needed by department and able to be flexible with schedule as needed.

Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills including mechanical, electrical and PLC programming

Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation.

HS Diploma or Equivalency, preferred associate’s degree.

5 + years automation technician experience within Injection Molding industry.

Worked with Whittman and Krauss Maffie equipment is preferred.
