Bilingual Bookkeeper-Office Administrator

Adecco is seeking a Bilingual Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant for the Commerce location. Must have comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, Payroll Processing and QuickBooks.

You will be responsible for all daily accounting functions (using QuickBooks) – Cash Receipts (preparing bank deposits), Cash Disbursements (weekly check-run), Sales (daily invoicing), Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Receivable follow up and collections. Responsible for reconciling American Express Account and ensuring that all charges are appropriately supported and coded correctly.
Administrative Assistant responsibilities include preparation of Sales Tax, Business Personal Property Tax, keeping Licenses / Permits up to date and in force. Set up and manage administrative procedures. Maintain checklists for New and Terminated Employees and manage that process.



Experience Needed

• AA/AS degree in business/financial related field preferred;
or a combination of college education and work experience may be substituted
• Three to five years of experience in AR /AP and general office duties
• Capable of maintaining accurate and detailed records
• Strong skills in software applications including Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and doing credit card and bank reconciliations
