Bilingual HR Coordinator

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a bilingual HR Coordinator in San, Diego, CA.  This role is a long term temp to hire opportunity. As a Bilingual HR Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager on all personnel matters and assist with administrative processing.

 

Key role responsibilities

  • Participate in a variety of HR processes such as performance management, staffing, training initiatives, compensation, career development, employee relations, and HR policy development.                                    
  • Assist with initiatives programs that help engage and retain a high performing workforce and enhance Company culture.
  • Partner with functional experts on the establishment and facilitation of employee training needs including new employee orientation, leadership development, and cross-training.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Performs payroll/benefit-related reconciliations to Payroll and other accounts.
  • Conducts audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends any corrective action.
  • Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
  • Makes photocopies, faxes document and performs other clerical functions.

 

Qualifications

  • Some College (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in business or related field
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • 1-3+ years of related work experience in human resources
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment laws, human resources theory, practices and legal requirements.
  • Skills in communication, both verbal and written to effectively communicate HR programs, provide training, as well as work with business groups on their strategic objectives
  • Skills in Microsoft Office suite and other data management and/or reporting applications i.e. PeopleSoft to be able to meet analytical and administrative requirements (i.e., presentations, communication documents, analytical queries, etc.).
  • Ability to build relationships, establish credibility and influence all levels of the organization
