Responsibilities for Bilingual Loans Servicing Representative jobs include but are not limited to:

  • Processes routine to complex account maintenance transactions which may include new account setups, assignments/assumptions, estate processing, modifications, payoffs and lien releases.
  • Collects, verifies and interprets documentation from customers and follows up to obtain missing information.
  • Completes changes in the servicing system and produces all account statements including payoff, demand, trustee sale, reinstatement and partial release.
  • Gathers and prepares original documents for paid or cancelled loans and sends releases and documents to appropriate parties.
  • Audits accounts, conducting extensive research to identify and correct historical errors.
  • Professionally communicates with customers and clients responding to account inquiries, information requests and account maintenance follow-up, and customer training as needed. Works with a third party to obtain historical information as required.
  • Documents customer interactions through contact tracking.
  • Meets or exceeds position-specific productivity/service level standards.
  • Performs all job functions in compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Bilingual Loan Servicing Representative jobs:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within the financial services industry requiring in depth research and client issue resolution. Experience must include exposure to Real Estate and/or Escrow documentation.
  • Work experience requiring attention to detail, accuracy and strong organization skills.
  • Advanced math skills. Must know how to calculate interest (including default interest) and have an understanding of amortization schedules.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to provide a high level of service to both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to make sound decisions and come to resolution form complex customer issues.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in schedules, routines, procedures, workstations, etc. with a positive attitude
  • Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and work independently on proprietary software systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive client information in a confidential manner.
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree strongly preferred
  • 2 years of Escrow or mortgage servicing experience preferred
  • Must be fluent in Spanish
