Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting experienced candidates for a Direct Hire Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager job in Northern Cincinnati with one of our top clients. The Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager will be responsible for performing accounting and business functions for a fast growing company that is expert in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of green, traditional, customized and private label packaging and disposable products.

Position Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit customer invoices and code, post and receipt payments
Prepare and coordinate deposit activities, non-payment and delayed payment
Check, verify, and process Vendor invoices, prepare payments for signature
Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
General accounts receivable functions
Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
Collect, confirm and process timesheets and overtime, track employee vacation and sick time
Verify taxes and Payroll details and other deductions
Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records
Assist in month end reporting procedures
Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
Perform filing and general administrative tasks
Coordinate with warehouses, and other supply chain partners to track and maintain inventory records and keep up-to date status on Inventory management.
Assist in preparing bids and quotes for customers
Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors.
Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
Collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
Maintain internal control systems
Close the books end of the month


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher degrees is preferred in business or accounting
5 years of experience in clerical accounting
Expert knowledge and experience of QuickBooks is required.
MS Office and knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks)
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures



The salary for this position is based on experience and qualifications- 40k to 50k annually. Healthcare benefits are not available, but they do offer paid holidays, vacation time, and a retirement plan.
