Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall performance of the branch; managing the operations of the branch with the collaboration of the Operations Officer and for business development, managing portfolios comprised of deposits and commercial loans. Will also:

* Oversees the lending and deposit gatherings for the branch, generates profitable clients by focusing on business clientele, expanding revenues from existing clients through account additions and other banking services.
* Iidentifies current and new customers’ needs to sell bank products, develops and make productive deposit and lending relationships, guides and advises the Relationship Managers with their underwriting, and with managing their personal and depository loan portfolio.









* Acts as an ambassador for the Bank, in the assigned market, by developing new business and meeting objectives through being involved in approved community organizations; develops and maintains growth of appropriately priced and structured deposit relationships; partners and collaborates lending opportunities with Commercial Team to ensure ongoing quality of loan portfolio; and effectively supervises staff to maximize productivity, motivation and development.









Qualifications



Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field of study such as Accounting or Finance with five (5) years of banking related experience in product sales and lending with an established portfolio of banking relationships within the Ft. Lauderdale and surrounding markets. 
Supervisory experience is required.
Must be able to travel and visit prospected new clients within a designated area in order to increase depository and loan production/sales goals.
Must be knowledgeable of internal bank operations (wire transfers, debits/credits and loan payments) and bank products to cross sell.
Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and oriented towards providing excellent customer service.
Must have leadership abilities to lead projects and manage people indirectly; ability to lead and drive initiatives; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Computer knowledge in MS Office Software (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).
Knowledge of banking laws and applicable compliance regulations and on the completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) is required.
