Our client is a mobile ordering platform for busy office workers to order food and coffee for pickup at thousands of locations across the US. They're a super customer-focused company that invests heavily in relationships and service for their retail merchant partners (food and coffee shops) and their users.

About you

You'll be the face of the company working directly with their merchant retail partners. You'll need to have a strong mix of professionalism, customer service focus, technical skills, and overall hustle. When family and friends can't get their new tech working, you are the first person they call. You are also naturally gifted talking with new people and can develop meaningful relationships. You like rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty and would rather be out working with customers than cooped up in the office all day. You will be like a field account manager for the client's new restaurant partners.

Your Role

You will work alongside city managers to visit new and existing locations to set them up on the app's platform and fix any issues they have that come up. The work is primarily based in the field in downtown Washington DC, travelling from location to location to help solve problems as they come up. Some office work will also be required.

You are prepared to
�Be the voice of the client to their merchants

�Manage the prep of devices for deployment

�Make visits to merchant sites to map their business processes, deploy the client merchant device and merchandise, and gather missing menu information

�Ensure that all the merchant pre-launch boxes are checked, all surfaced issues are solved, and that a merchant is launch-ready

�Solve the most difficult merchant device wifi network issues

�Access to a personal laptop and a data plan on a smartphone

�Student or Recent Graduate with a Diploma / Bachelor�s degree, able to commit to 15-30 hours/wk

�Great real life technical problem solving chops. You are a master of tinkering with technology and making it work

�Excellent interpersonal skills. You are comfortable dealing with customers and merchants alike.

�A great teacher & influencer. You're able to train people to use new tools, regardless of their technical abilities, and can convince them to adopt new processes to improve the way things are done

�Superior organizational skills and great follow through on tasks

�Passion for coffee, food, and people
