POSITION: BSA Clerk
LOCATION: Mount Laurel, NJ (Zip 08054)
DURATION: 4+ Months, possible temp to hire for the right candidate
HOURS: 8am - 4:30pm, Mon - Fri
START DATE: ASAP
PAY RATE: $14.00/hr W2

**Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship / no corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only.**

Job Summary:


Main Duties:
• Will work off a queue (about 150/day), will go into the system to research whether a customer's name is the same person on the list or if they are different people. For example, will research background info such as address, relatives, date of birth, to compare and make determination
• All work done on the computer
• Will be receiving 150 alerts per day so must be comfortable doing repetitive tasks
• Metrics of the dept. - meeting volumes, attendance/schedule adherence

Performs currency transaction reporting functions to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act regulations and Commerce Bank policy. Exemplifies the WOW! the Customer Service Philosophy

Assists the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) co-coordinator with branch and exempt customer reviews. Researches cash transaction reports using the ''COLD'' system. Prepare CTR's. Daily communication with the head tellers and supervisors. Submits currency transaction reports to the internal revenue service and responds when follow up is necessary. Reviews new customer files for completeness and accuracy.

Must Haves:
• Previous banking/FI experience, 1-2 years
• Previous data entry experience
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel
• Outgoing, hard-working, team oriented and professional

Nice to haves:
• Exposure to Encore or Fidelity systems (an asset)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year's business experience. including six months' experience as a Bank Teller
• Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and Currency Transaction Report requirements.
• Good organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and detail oriented.
• Ability to use/learn current technology and software applications related to position.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
