POSITION: Budget Analyst
DURATION: 12+ month assignment, open position
Hourly Pay Rate: $30 - $35
Hours/Week: 40
Shift: 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Job Description:
- Prepares concise budgets, provides detailed analysis of budgets, monitors performance to budget and provides guidance to internal customers.
- Position requires strong reconciliation/analytical skills.
- Prior experience in financial modeling a plus, strong computer skills a must.

Accountabilities:
• Act as the primary finance business partner to the VP of IT
• Perform core FP&A activities, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning
• Develop materials for monthly / quarterly financial reviews for senior management
• Present at the monthly meetings
• Works with Project manager to ensure review of Weekly Time reporting
• Review Contracts for Capital V/S expense; working closely with the Project Accounting group
• Work with the Project managers on Monthly and Yearly forecast and ensure timely submission of the forecast
• Create annual budget through collaboration with IT business partners and the EIT finance team
• Monthly close and reporting
• Preparation of Monthly Financial Reviews with ability to articulate the story
• Ad-hoc analysis supporting the VP of IT and direct reports
• Do Accruals when necessary for the Project
• Help Review contracts and open purchase orders and change requests
• Ad hoc Invoice reconciliations; work closely with solution owners
• Review Depreciation policies and place in service

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting, business related field, or equivalent work experience required
• 5+ of Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Financial Planning experience
2-4 years’ experience in a large corporate environment.
• Financial Planning & Analysis experience required
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
• May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
• Works on complex projects of large scope
• Completes work independently receives general guidance on new projects
• Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
