Job Description:

Adecco Staffing is working with a local company in Bothell to fill a Budget Coordinator position. The pay is $20-$25/hour, DOE and the assignment will go until the end of the year!


The Budget Coordinator should have excellent communication skills, is comfortable working with all levels of individuals, displays a high attention to detail, and possesses the ability to multi-task in a high-performance culture. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the aptitude to learn new systems and can effectively work with peers to meet our corporate goals. 


The Budget Coordinator will be responsible for researching and communicating with the budget owners for each department monthly the status of approved spend compared to actual spend. This position will also assist our purchasing function with supporting purchase order changes and review of contract and purchase order expirations.


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Track spend against approved budget utilizing excel and Adaptive Insights budget software. 
  • Facilitate monthly meetings with budget owners to review budget versus actual spend and timing on expense. Get insight into why spend has not been initiated, timing changes and all other changes to approved budget.
  • Provide minute meetings and feedback to Manager, FP&A from budget meetings.
  • Assist end-users with change order requests for contract modifications or service order work order changes and processing them through Coupa P2P system/Dynamics 365.
  • Establish, nurture and maintain excellent vendor, internal and external customer relationships.
  • Accounting ad hoc projects.



  • ​​​​​​​2+ years of work experience using a computerized system in Budgeting, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • 4-year degree in Business Administration or Economics (or related field) is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of budget and accounting principles, theories, and processes.
  • Budget experience with a biopharmaceutical company and/or Adaptive Insights budget software preferred.
  • Experience with procurement and/or contract management systems a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, reporting skills.
  • Proven effective cross-functional business team experience required.
  • Strong process, organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills.
