Business Analyst III – BAT Required
Mount Laurel NJ or NYC, NY or Maine or Greenville SC
W2 Contract 9 + months starting 10/30/2017
100% remote – Must Be Open to Travel If Needed
Pay Rate: depends upon experience and location


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

This position is supports the Project Manager with implementation of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's (CFPB) required changes to TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosure Act (TRID) Amendments project. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of lending terminology & background in running projects in the financial industry. The responsibilities of this position may include one or more of the following; ability to read & understand regulatory rules & supporting regulatory documents; ability to elicit existing & future state business process mapping; ability to define regulatory specify business requirements as well as be able to outline requirements strategy; stakeholder identification.

This role is to support two new projects with a focus on regulatory reporting/compliance details being sent to Credit Bureau –the successful candidate will support a driven team within a collaborative, hardworking & great atmosphere.


Must be located in Mount Laurel, NJ or NYC, NY or Maine or Greenville SC. This is a remote role on Eastern Seaboard, must be local to drive into client corporate Hub for meetings (NJ or ME primarily). This role is 100% remote HOWEVER travel may be required, must be open to travel if needed. As these projects can go live on weekends, the successful candidate must be flexible to work occasionally on Friday evenings or weekends


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Gather requirements from business units & translate those to programmers/developers.
Confer with clients regarding the nature of information processing or computation needs.
Prepare cost-benefit & return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed & how it is processed.
Coordinate & link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility & so information can be shared.
Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.



REQUIRED SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
5-7 years’ experience required.
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail & interpersonal skills
Strong executive presence &excellent communication.
Ability to work independently & manage one’s time.
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support & constructive performance feedback.
Knowledge design techniques & principles involved in production of drawings & models.
Knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
Project Management with experience working with a project that impacts details sent to Credit Bureau and use cases, etc. a plus!


MUST HAVES:

Consumer Financial Banking background – mortgage, consumer lending, etc.
BAT testing experience – 5-7 years
Agile Experience
Requirements gathering
Previous BA experience within a compliance/regulatory space (FACTA experience)
Previous BA experience within a banking project – 5 years
Strong MS Suites including PowerPoint, Visio and Project
Will need to provide any examples of Visio process work, Use cases, etc.
