Location: Bridgewater NJ
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $34.25 Per Hour (depending upon experience)
Length: 12 months / W2
Duration of assignment: 1 Year

Summary and Responsibilities

The Business Analyst position is responsible for defining and documenting requirements for simultaneous projects with varying levels of complexity and scope, for legacy platform enhancements as well as digital transformation initiatives, in support of the clients Group business. Qualified candidates should be able to analyze business needs, partner and effectively communicate with various stakeholders and document requirements and/or map business processes clearly and succinctly to solve for gaps and support solutions.

Project responsibilities include:

Interviewing partner areas, gathering information and performing detailed analysis.
Working with business users, product SMEs and IT for creation of Business Requirements that meet the needs of all stakeholders
Providing analysis of business requirements and business/system process flows requested by other groups to assess impact on systems
Conducting Business Requirement reviews and obtaining stakeholder sign-off
Estimation of work efforts and timely reporting status on deliverables
Communicating with business users and partners effectively to support the delivery of projects
Creation and/or modification of Business Process Flows as needed
Performing Smoke testing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing
Ensuring traceability from requirements to testing
Documenting and/or raising issues and risks
Operational readiness

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills Required:

3 – 4 years of related work experience.
Strong ability to elicit and document business requirements and process maps.
Understands IT documents: Architecture, Use Cases, FRDs, UAT scenarios, and their correlation to the requirements and processes.
Ability to trace business requirements to IT and Test documents and knowledge of data analysis and data mapping.
Good consulting skills, engaging business partners, drawing out information and business intelligence.
Able to build relationships with partners in person and virtually, and has the ability to communicate solutions clearly and effectively with various parties with different levels of knowledge.

Education Required and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience and claims knowledge in Disability, Dental and/or Life.
Well organized, takes incentive, prioritizes work appropriately and has leadership skills.
Some knowledge of user experience concepts.
Ability to communicate solutions clearly and effectively with various parties with different levels of knowledge.
Discernment of when to escalate potential issues/concerns to prevent project interruption.
Good negotiation skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally.
Ability to analyze information and determine what is important for the solution/project.
