Business Analyst

Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Direct Hire Business Analyst Job in Fort Collins, CO for our client a leading reputable non-profit partnered with our own CSU. The Business Analyst serves in a technical capacity to improve or develop SQL based reporting, analysis and integration and support and develop databases both for vended software as well as internally developed solutions. Our client seeks a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field and strong in-depth knowledge of database internals and data structures including experience with MSSQL administration and strong T-SQL query syntax knowledge.

Responsibilities for the Business Analyst Job in Fort Collins, CO include:


Develop custom reports, data tasks and 3rd party integrations as required
Discuss business needs with internal staff and gather requirements
Document and refine existing business processes across the organization
Oversee data collection/extract processes
Create documentation for future reference, training and support activities
Provide support on technical integration issues
Write translation plan to move development work into various environments
Work independently to coordinate and solve highly complex technical data communication and transformation issues
Validate and ensure data quality and integrity
Work with the Business Office/Controller to develop and validate control procedures.
Configure, maintain and supports all databases including monitoring system health and performance, upgrades, security, backup to ensure high levels of performance, availability and security


Minimum Qualifications and Skills:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
Strong in-depth knowledge of database internals and data structures
Experience with MSSQL administration and strong T-SQL query syntax knowledge
Experience with SSRS or similar reporting tool
Project management experience
Experience documenting processes and work flow
Experience in developing SQL Server databases including table creation, indexing, function and/or stored procedure development, testing and implementation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
High degree of resourcefulness and initiative
Experience in troubleshooting database applications with limited documentation
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
