Experience Studio: Strategy and Operations Lead (temp) CHI or MTV The Experience Studio team is responsible for designing and building customer facing spaces. We're a team of designers, producers, engineers, and business thinkers whose mission is to inspire customers through the interactive spaces that we create. Our job is to design and deliver engaging physical experiences that tell story’s, make the magic of our product more apparent, and communicate our unique ability to grow customers' businesses into the digital age and shepherd their brands into the future. We are looking for Strategy and Operations Lead to join the Experience Studio team to provide critical business and operational support across portfolio of centers and products. In this role, you will be working with business stakeholders, design and engineering teams to understand business needs and translate those into funding requests. In addition, you'll measure and analyze performance at portfolio level and recommend/lead improvement initiatives.

Top 3 Responsibilities: 1) Collaborate with business teams and Experience Design leads to understand OPEX and CAPEX funding needs for new investment opportunities and exiting centers. Prepare annual funding templates/processes, collect data and prepare funding requests for syndication with senior stakeholders. 2) Manage existing CAPEX and OPEX budget and reporting, including quarterly forecasting and analysis to ensure optimal utilization of resources. Collaborate with Finance team to review/improve current financial processes (PO set up, forecasting etc.) and communicate those guidelines to Experience Studio and X-functional teams. 3) Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Experience Studio, Service Delivery and Finance partners and business teams to collect and analyse business and operational metrics across portfolio of centers. Lead improvements in metrics definition, tracking tools and processes.

Other Responsibilities: Lead preparation of quarterly business reviews with Directors and VPs to report on Experience Studio performance and to provide insight for targeted strategic discussions. Identify and structure specific analyses to address complex, ambiguous, and potentially charged business issues for Experience Studio team. Work with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to gather relevant data and conduct business analysis. The job is a temporary hourly position (~40 hours/week), currently expected to last one year with the possibility of renewal. Qualifications Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e., Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics or Finance) or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in management consulting or investment banking, or equivalent strategy/project management experience in a line role for a technology firm. Experience with analytical tools and techniques (SQL, spreadsheet software, statistics and predictive modeling). Experience structuring strategic analysis using spreadsheets and presentations. Experience in practical business modeling or financial modeling. Preferred qualifications: MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field 7 years of work experience in consulting; software, Internet, media industries and/or early stage companies Experience in structuring and executing complex analyses to support and drive strategy in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment Proven leader with excellent project management, problem solving/analysis, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
