POSITION: Business Analyst
LOCATION: Wilmington, DE (Zip 19801)
DURATION: 12+ Months (Potential for extension/conversion)
START DATE: ASAP
PAY RATE: Negotiable depending on experience level

**Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship / no corp to corp or 3rd party contracting arrangement / Adecco W2 only.**


This position will focus on consumer lending/credit card within collections and backend processes.

Summary:
The main function of a business analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.

Job Responsibilities:


Gather requirements inclusive of operational, customer and employee impacts from business units and translate those to programmers, developers and other members of the delivery team.
Accountable for Business Requirement Package documentation inclusive of varying requirements types, process flow documentation etc.
Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs.
Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
Expected to build and maintain positive working relationships with partners and team members.
Ability to effectively facilitate meetings of any size including the documentation and issuance of meeting minutes.
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills through a variety of analysis techniques to enable informed decision making



Skills:


Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.
Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
Working knowledge of applicable Microsoft Suite of products including, but not limited to MS Project, Visio, Word and PowerPoint.
Advanced to expert knowledge of creating process flows, procedures and control points to meet Audit requirements


Education/Experience:


Advanced to expert knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project life-cycle
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
8-10 years experience required.
Experience with Agile delivery practices preferred (e.g. writing user stories,
Experience and knowledge of credit card business and corresponding lifecycle preferred.
Specific knowledge pertaining to credit card acquisition (onboarding, marketing etc)/ account adjudication/ US Payments and US collections


Must Haves:
1. 5+ years of recent credit card and/or consumer lending experience within collections, backend processes
2. Agile Methodology project working experience
3. 8-10 Proven strong BA experience taking a project end to end
4. Strong MS Suites, including Visio, PowerPoint

Nice to Haves:
1. Understanding of coding
2. TSYS experience

Soft Skills:
1. Collaborative, team player
2. Flexible
3. Excellent communication
